About Conro's

Conros Resort is a true Northwoods tradition, enjoyed by visiting friends and families who return year after year to soak up the natural beauty and endless fun this wonderful area has to offer.

The resort was built in 1911 by Charles Conro, of Conro & Sons Lumber Company, who searched the area for the perfect family Summer Retreat. His excellent knowledge of the forests and lakes of Northern Wisconsin led him to the high point on the peninsula of the Moen Lake Chain, with its spectacular views and natural, scenic beauty.

Over the past 100 plus years, Conro's has seen several generations of Charles Conros family host countless families and friends, providing lasting memories to all that have enjoyed the pristine setting, amongst the ancient oaks and pines along the sandy stretch of Moen Lake.

In the Fall of 2016 the property was acquired by new owners, Tim Lehman, a teacher at Northland Pines School in Eagle River, and his 12 year old son Cole.   Their goal is to continue the tradition of running a resort that is family centered and provides a fun, recreational getaway for people of all ages.
